About MusicSaz
Est. 2009 · Trusted by 15,000+ producers worldwide
Our Story
MusicSaz started back in 2009 as a small community for music production enthusiasts. What began as a passion project has grown into one of the most trusted resources for bedroom producers and aspiring music creators around the world.
We've been through the same struggles you're probably facing right now — staring at a DAW with no idea where to start, wasting money on gear we didn't need, and watching hours of YouTube tutorials that never got to the point. That's exactly why we built MusicSaz.
What We Do
We create in-depth, no-BS content about music production. Every article, review, and tutorial on this site is written by actual producers who use these tools daily. Here's what you'll find:
- Honest Gear Reviews — We buy and test every product we review. No sponsored fluff, no affiliate-driven hype. If something sucks, we'll tell you.
- Production Tutorials — Step-by-step guides that actually teach you something, from mixing vocals to mastering your first track.
- DAW Comparisons — Side-by-side comparisons of FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, and more — based on real-world usage, not spec sheets.
- Free Resources — Curated lists of free VST plugins, sample packs, and tools that rival paid alternatives.
Our Team
Alex Rivera — Founder & Lead Producer. 12+ years in music production, specializing in electronic music and hip-hop. Has worked with FL Studio and Ableton Live since version 8 and 7 respectively. Alex oversees all content on MusicSaz to ensure accuracy and quality.
Jordan Hayes — Audio Engineer & Gear Reviewer. A certified audio engineer with 8 years of studio experience. Jordan tests every piece of hardware and software we review, running detailed benchmarks and real-world tests.
Sam Chen — Tutorial Writer & Community Manager. A self-taught producer who went from zero to releasing on Spotify in under a year. Sam writes our beginner guides because he remembers exactly what it's like to start from scratch.
Our Editorial Policy
Every piece of content on MusicSaz follows these principles:
- First-hand experience — We only review products we've personally used for at least 2 weeks.
- No pay-for-play — Companies cannot pay for positive reviews. Period.
- Regular updates — We update our guides and recommendations at least quarterly to keep them current.
- Reader-first — Our recommendations are based on what's best for you, not what earns us the most.
